Distribution Deal... Check!

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Mallory Bollinger. I'm married to Jermaine and sing backing vocals in the band. I don't usually write the blog, but Jermaine asked me to give my perspective on the month of September:
Something I'm very excited for this month is new merch! I manage our inventory and run the table at some shows, so I get pumped for things like new CD's and t-shirts. Our new t-shirts include 4 new designs with Jermaine and my favorite lines from songs on The Great Unknown as well as a new JB design. We also plan to start an email mailing list this month. Fans who opt in to the mailing list will get exclusive updates, receive special offers, and be the first to know news about the band. The biggest news for September came last week on September 9 when our new album, The Great Unknown released. This album was written during a big transition in our lives, as we listened to God and took the next steps. I know that the writing was very personal for Jermaine as we took a step of faith, not knowing what the outcome would be, but knowing that God knows the outcome, He's in control, and He works all things for our good. I really think that this is some of his best writing yet! This week, we got more big news as we began a distributon and marketing partnership with CLG Music and Media. It has been in the works for several weeks, but is finally official. CLG works with vendors, who will then carry The Great Unknown in their online and brick and mortar stores. CLG will also market the CD using relationships they have on social media and in the Christian music indistry. This is a big deal and will hopefully extend our reach much past our region to markets that we don't normally play in.
We're still not quite sure where we're headed, but I've been so blown away by God's provision while we wait and how much different life can seem when you have a second to rest, reflect, and pour all of your effort into doing something that you love. I can't wait to see what we have to share with you in the month of October. Check back next month for more news!
